I dove deep with Trello, Motion, Sunsama and Akiflow. Only one truly impressed me

Eid Mubarak, everyone!

I debated whether to send this out during a public holiday, but figured it’s the perfect time to quietly pop into your inbox - with a post about AI and productivity, naturally. What else would a work-obsessed freelancer do over Eid?

But, let’s face it, staying on top of things is absolutely vital as a freelancer, particularly when we’re juggling multiple clients and deadlines at the same time.

I’ll admit, organisation is not my forte. I’ve tried all sorts of ways to keep myself organised in the past – handwritten to-do lists, visual charts, Google calendar, the usual stuff – but I knew I needed to find a tool that would help me on track in a way these other techniques never could.

And so, my hunt for my perfect AI tool began. I spent a week trialling four different software platforms – and reading up on many more – before I found the one for me.

In this post, I go deep into everything I did and didn’t like about each one, and how I made my final choice.
